Limbs and Body Structure: Each Punte-della-whatever call them "Pun-de-Piu's" is different. Anything can happen with the appearance and genetics just like any creature. Extra limbs can be stubby, or long, useless, or working. It is most likely that any extra set of limbs can be used. The skeletal structure of these creatures is, from birth to childhood, is a bit robust and "Short" As the young Pun-de-Piu reach adulthood, the skeleton forms a more leaner look. At old age is when the skeleton is as long as it can be.

Feathers,Coloration, Teeth: Males have a more bristled, spiked look to their feathers. A female's feathers are longer, sleeker, and have a less bristled look. For both males and females, the feathers can be flared out and be used for intimidation or just to merely show off. Once mentioned before, coloration is different for each Pun-de-Piu, no two are alike. If the teeth are examined closely, one can notice that these creatures were once from a herbivorous descent. Now the mouth is accompanied with protruding fangs. Tusks can actually be formed from these teeth when a Pun-de-Piu reaches a very old age.

Face markings(go to the link above to see) Earrings, and Caste System: All of these are earned when a Pun-de-Piu comes of age. More face markings are earned as long as he/she lives. They symbolize milestones, experiences, and memories. The amount and quality of the many, many, earrings depends one his/her place in the caste system. And only the elders, or Untouchables, can have jewelry/piercings on their faces. Materials used to make earrings are bones, woods, metals, and fabrics.

The Two Gods

Dio D'ardore/ "glowing god"- The god of forgiveness, hope, miracles, love, and honor. He is believed to be a white, glowing entity as bright as the sun and be the size of a continent.

Dio Scellerato/ "nefarious god"- the complete opposite of Dio D'ardore. The god of deceit, betrayal, dishonesty, greed, and envy. He is said to be a hideous, towering being the shape of a Pon-de-Piu that appears to be made entirely of a sickly black slime.

The Caste System

Untouchables - This level, for some human caste systems, is about the lowest someone could be. But not for the Pon-de-Piu. This is the highest one could ever be, and they are the speakers for the gods themselves. Untouchables are always many-century-old, respected Pon-de-Piu. They live in isolation from the rest of the species and are only visited when they are extremely needed.

Storytellers: practically even with the Local class, these are the problem solvers and leaders for them. They are driven by wisdom, kindness, reason, and are never hasty. If a storyteller is worthy, he/she may possibly become an Untouchable.

Locals - The group of the species that live average lives. The males hunt, and the females do the labor. It's a decent life, and they only have to follow a few strict rules.
